Holy Week Services 2021 & Congregational Meeting, April 11

HOLY WEEK SERVICES 2021 Maundy Thursday , April 1, at 7 pm : Although we will not have our traditional foot-washing service performed by the EPC Deacons; we invite you to a service of music, scripture readings and communion.     Good Friday , April 2 :   The church will open at 5 pm for quiet reflection and individual worship time. Then at 7 pm we will have a service of music and scripture readings; and for those attending in person, you will have the opportunity to symbolically release your sins and griefs to Jesus by writing them on a small card, folding and tacking to the wooden cross in the sanctuary. Easter Services, April 4 : Join in the celebration of the Resurrection of our Savior Jesus Christ at our 8:30 am in-person/streaming service. If you are not comfortable participating in person, the Maundy Thursday and Good Friday services will come to you in your home via a Zoom invitation; and we will continue to livestream and record the Easter Sunday service. Interim Pastor Search Committee Update

Dear EPC, The Interim Pastor Search Committee is excited to announce that Pastor Becca Jordan-Irwin will be joining us as our Interim Pastor! Pastor Becca currently lives in Monument, Colorado with her husband Dave. Dave is also a pastor and they have two adult children.   Becca has served as a pastor for 30+ years while continuing to be personally involved in prison ministry, international missions, youth and children’s development, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, education, and Presbytery committees. We discovered during our interviews that she has a passionate heart for Jesus and all of his people. These valuable traits along with a Doctor of Ministry from Fuller Theological Seminary make her well equipped and a wonderful fit for our EPC family. Most recently, Becca has served as an Interim Pastor locally with a desire to equip and empower congregations who believe every member has been called by God to use their gifts and talents.
