EPC Re-Opening Postponed to December 6

After a long meeting with Session Tuesday night, Elder Larry Russell has announced that EPC's plans to re-open in-person worship services have been postponed till at least December 6, due to a recent spike in COVID-19 cases in Colorado and in Elbert County.   In the meantime, we will be live streaming services from the sanctuary starting at 8:30 a.m. this Sunday, November 1st.   "We will be doing everything we can to make this as normal as possible for folks viewing from home," Larry said. "We'll have the praise team in the sanctuary to lead us in song, we'll have a liturgist leading us through all the elements of the service as much as possible like it would be on a normal Sunday morning. And people you know and love will be bringing the message. We just won't be able to have you sitting right there with us."   On Saturday night you will receive everything you need to join us online.   As has been the case since we started doing onl

Volunteers Needed – Technical Experience Not Required

As we transition to in-house worship, EPC will also be live streaming the service each Sunday. We really need your help so please consider volunteering to help Dan McGrath run the soundboard and help with the live streaming each week. Dan’s goal is to establish a rotation schedule so volunteers would not have to commit to helping every Sunday.   We need at least 8 volunteers that want to help EPC with this exciting effort. Don’t worry about not being technically inclined. If you just want to help EPC and are willing to be trained on the process, please contact Dan McGrath as soon as possible at d.mcgrath42@yahoo.com .

EPC looking to open for In-Person Worship November 1

Congregation members longing to worship in person with their EPC family, will have that opportunity once again beginning Sunday, November 1 at 8:30 a.m. Following published state guidelines and mandates for group meetings, significant precautions are being put into place to protect the health of those who come. Masks and social distancing will be required during the entire time people are inside the building. The pews will be marked off, with seating available only in every other pew. Speakers will address the congregation from behind a plexiglass barrier. Volunteers will be making sure restrooms and all surfaces are sanitized each week. Elders are confident these measures will provide a high degree of safety, however it is recognized that people in high-risk groups may still want to stay home. Therefore, the worship service will also be live streamed, so that everyone can participate at least to some degree in the live worship service. Services will also be recorded so they can be vie
