EPC Women’s Bible Study

You are invited to join us for a weekly Women’s Bible Study focusing on Spiritual Gifts beginning Monday, September 20, from 12:00 noon to 1:15 p.m. in the Church Fellowship Hall. 

God has created each of us with unique gifts and strengths. We also are given specific gifts of the Spirit that enable us to serve God and build up the Body of Christ in special ways. During our study, we will be learning more about the gifts of the Spirit and giving people the opportunity to take a “spiritual gifts inventory” that can help people discern what their spiritual gifts might be. God gifts each of us through the power of the Holy Spirit so that we can be equipped to serve in the Body of Christ. As each one of us uses our gifts, the church is built up and we are better equipped to fulfill the purposes for which God has for us as we reach out to our community with the love of Christ.

Allyn Bader Barclay will also lead us through the “Clifton Strengthfinders” inventory which will help us discern what some of our natural strengths and talents might be and how we can develop those strengths through knowledge, skills and experience.  On Saturday, November 13, from 10 - 12:00 noon, Allyn will lead us in a workshop on practical ways in which we can use our strengths in our personal lives and in service to the Church.

Feel free to bring your own sack lunch or snacks. We will provide coffee and drinks!

Virtual Fellowship Table Easter Sunday at 10 a.m.

One of the things our church is famous for is the spread that gets put out between worship services every Sunday. Breakfast casseroles, homemade baked goods, veggies and cream cheese dip, platters full of fresh fruit, Swedish meatballs and those ubiquitous little Vienna sausages. And we all stand around eating and laughing and talking too loud and having a great time just being together. Well, since we'd get arrested for doing that now, EPC is going to try its first-ever virtual fellowship table this Sunday – Easter Sunday – between 10 and 11 a.m. So get up early, watch our Easter worship service (which promises to be quite wonderful), put on your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it, and join your friends in fellowship at 10 a.m. You'll have to bring your own coffee and set out your own brunch items (or just imagine the table in the fellowship area of the church), but you'll be able to visit face-to-face with your EPC family via t
