  The summer hiatus has ended. The men are meeting via Zoom again and continuing their study of "The New Testament You Never Knew," by N.T. Wright, from 8 - 9 a.m. every Saturday morning. If you would like to join the study, click here to contact Phil Wood and receive your zoom invitation.

The men's Bible study group, which has been meeting by Zoom every Saturday morning since coronavirus measures went into effect, has decided to take a break for the Summer. The group will not meet during the months of June and July. The study, The New Testament You Never Knew , will resume in August, hopefully with face-to-face meetings. The date for resuming the study will be announced in late July. For information, contact Phil Wood .

Meeting by Zoom on June 2, the elders of EPC after praying and considering guidance from both governmental and denominational sources, decided it is safer for all and generally more prudent not to hold worship services in the church at least through the end of July.  A plan was created for groups of 10 or fewer to meet at the church or in homes for church sponsored activities. Those groups should contact the pastor for more details before planning those kinds of meetings. In the meantime, the current program of online worship, Zoom fellowship, daily devotionals and other forms of online communication and telephone contact will be continued. In a letter to the congregation, the elders stated, "We appreciate the ways you have adapted to the unusual circumstances of this pandemic and rejoice that we remain strong as a church and in many ways are drawing even closer to one another as friends and followers of Jesus." Just click on the Join Zoom Meeting link.  Last week's virtual fellowship effort, on Easter morning, was a great success, with many of us getting to see each other for the first time in many weeks. Maybe this will get to be a weekly thing? Those of you in the Adult Sunday School class will be able to meet this morning at 10 a.m., as well. These meetings will be ongoing on Sunday mornings, until we are free to meet safely in person again. Regular participants already received invitations by email. One of the things our church is famous for is the spread that gets put out between worship services every Sunday. Breakfast casseroles, homemade baked goods, veggies and cream cheese dip, platters full of fresh fruit, Swedish meatballs and those ubiquitous little Vienna sausages. And we all stand around eating and laughing and talking too loud and having a great time just being together. Well, since we'd get arrested for doing that now, EPC is going to try its first-ever virtual fellowship table this Sunday – Easter Sunday – between 10 and 11 a.m. So get up early, watch our Easter worship service (which promises to be quite wonderful), put on your Easter bonnet with all the frills upon it, and join your friends in fellowship at 10 a.m. You'll have to bring your own coffee and set out your own brunch items (or just imagine the table in the fellowship area of the church), but you'll be able to visit face-to-face with your EPC family via t...

Temporarily unable to gather in person, many EPC teams, groups and ministries have set up online virtual gatherings to continue their work and their fellowship. The go-to technology for these meetings has become Zoom video conferencing, which allows high definition video and audio, enabling participants to easily join meetings, see each other's faces and communicate real-time. Dear Friends: As a result of the spread of the Coronavirus which has already affected us all in so many ways, Elizabeth Presbyterian Church has decided to suspend all in-person meetings including our Sunday worship services. We will offer a Sunday morning service over the internet. You will receive information about this option each Saturday.
